That thing will finally bellow like it was always meant to. Both parts should be here by the end of June, hopefully I can get it installed around mid-July.

challenger? do you have an R/T or a ScatPack? because I want a scat pack soooooo bad..... only reason why I might buy a mustang over it is price ($38k vs $43k similarly equipped) I much prefer the chally's looks though

What exhaust did you go with? Also, nothing plebian about a V8. If you had the V6, that would be different.

I was checking Zoomers on Jegs. It seems odd that they dont come with an X or H pipe.

Thats going to make a good deal of noise. Much more than I want out of the HEMIWagon.
Even when I do the motor swap in the Magnum, Im more likely to do a lopey as hell cam over a loud exhaust.

Who was it, Hot Rod Magazine I think? They took a junkyard 5.7, dropped in a forged rotating assembly and all said and done made a boatload of power for just a couple thousand bucks. Im not after power though, Im after a specific build, otherwise I would just do a full stroker build on the current 5.7 and boost the life out if it.
Theres a guy on Instagram with a 392 Challenger that dropped a 2.7L Whipple on top and the behemoth pushes something like 1100 wheel torque. Thats just batshit insane to me, but awesome knowing that the factory iron blocks are capable. I plan on doing a 426 build from a 6.4L. Not sure if Ill go stroker or bore to a 7.0, but Ill decide soon enough. Just waiting for the replacement TCM to get back on the road for now.

Manual or Automatic car?
Are you doing anything to the rest of the exhaust, or just long tube headers?

It’s a full replacement, headers, high flow cats, and catback, I’m not sure if the stock tips will fit the new 3" outlet. Might have to run tipless for some time.

Okay, youre aware of the MDS drone, correct? Thats the only thing you should most definitely keep in mind.
Headers alone, no, they wont change the car drastically, but youre going to be ripping out the mufflers and resonators that do keep the car quiet.

I like the MDS. Call me weird, but I average high 20's on the highway with the MDS. Lets me continue to afford DD’ing the car and modding it. I’ll keep it as long as I can.
